- Adult Japanese beetles and their grubs do an estimated $460 Million in damage to lawns, golf courses and pastures every year.

- Adult Japanese beetles feed on the foliage and fruits of over 300 plant species, including crops such as grapes, apples, and soybeans, further contributing to agricultural losses.

What Is Milky Spore?
- Milky Spore is a natural bacterium that targets and kills the grub stage of the Japanese Beetles in the soil.
- Once applied it remains dormant until grubs feed on grass roots and ingest it.
- Once consumed, a single spore multiplies into 2–3 billion within each grub, causing death in 7–10 days.
- As the grub decomposes, billions of new spores return to the soil, repeating the cycle.
- Available in granular and powder forms.
- Safe for humans, pets, plants, shrubs, and beneficial insects.
How To Apply Milky Spore - Powder
- Apply at a rate of 10 pounds per acre anytime the ground is not frozen to ensure spores reach the root level where grubs feed.
- Fill the Lawn & Garden Dispenser Tube (80001-7) with Milky Spore powder and adjust the dial on the bottom to dispense one teaspoon per shake. Tip: shake over a peice of paper to measure how much is being dispensed and adjust the dial until only 1 teaspoon is dispensed per shake.
- Shake the tube just above the ground every 3 to 4 feet in rows 3 to 4 feet apart.
- Water for 15 minutes or apply before rain for best results.
- Wait 3-4 days before mowing
When To Apply Milky Spore - Powder
- Milky Spore Powder can be applied at any time when the ground is not frozen, typically between April and November, when the highest number of grubs are present in the soil.
